BC women 'at a time of crossroads'

Back a few months ago I posted announcements about the upcoming events that the provincial/area church women's organizations were hosting.  See post from March 29 (click here).  The follow-up report for WMCEC's event "Faith, Food and Friends" was posted on May 8.  In addition WMCEC's "Tulip Festival Bus Tour" report appeared on May 28.
The BC Women's Ministry event took place on May 3 with a Diamond Anniversary celebrating 75 years.  Amy Dueckman, BC Correspondent for the Canadian Mennonite, wrote a report which was published May 26. "Five past presidents of what was formerly BC Women in Mission shared memories reflecting how serving had changed them and how women's roles in church and society has changed over the years." Thanks to the planning committee members of BC Women's Ministry:  Waltrude Gortzen (Abbotsford), Rita Siebert (Richmond) and Cheryl Dyck (Mission) for the commitment of time and energy you have put into your province-wide events!
