MW Canada meeting at Assembly 2016 in Saskatoon

If you are planning to attend Mennonite Church Canada Assembly 2016 in Saskatoon please sign up to be part of our Mennonite Women Canada Annual Meeting on Thursday, July 7 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. This will be a time of fellowship with women from across Canada and hearing about our projects. Our theme is "EMBRACING TRANSITIONS".

As we look forward we realize that there will be transitions ahead. We are hoping that we will have open ears and hearts to listen to each other's challenges and concerns over a cup of coffee.

We realize that women’s ministry today has a different look than in the past and we strive to connect with women of all ages across the different cultures represented in our churches.

Let's all pray for wisdom and guidance as we work together.

Note:  When you register on-line, please choose Mennonite Women Canada Annual Meeting as your Thursday morning seminar choice.

Local Saskatchewan women who want to attend our event only will still need to register on line – (select Mennonite Women Canada Only attendee type) or through Coreena Stewart or Mel Harms (see below).  You can pick up your ticket at the registration desk and then pick up your refreshments and proceed to the room indicated on the ticket. Our meeting will start at 10:30 am and go until 12:00 noon.

CONNECTIONS APRIL 2016

Our newsletter “CONNECTIONS" is one way in which we connect with women across Canada.  You will find an update of the various projects we support as well as a feature set of articles on a specific theme.  Our theme for this issue is Embracing Transitions which is also the theme for our (Annual) Business Meeting sessions at Mennonite Church Canada Assembly in Saskatoon this July.

All of us involved in women’s ministry are facing challenges in our local congregations, in our area churches and in our national church.  Let’s continue to work together so that we can still be a meaningful and vital partnering ministry of the church.

The link to CONNECTIONS on the side bar
will take you to all of our past issues.
